The Electro Kid - For Yourself

I worked hard crafting this song in my home studio then took it to my friends home studio where we worked on the song for about a day perfecting the vocals and all instruments. It is a synth driven pop electro jam with catchy choruses and powerful verses and was written recorded and partly produced by myself.

Rawr Vanity - Strangers

Strangers is about how the effects of drugs can change a person and therefore create dilemmas in the solid relationships that once were. So much so that now everything is different. Drugs can force one to lie, to deceive those whom they once told the world to, and to slip on the sturdy ground that used to be beneath their feet. We're now Strangers.

We also have the added synth instrument in the middle 8 of the song as the unlikely instrument used in our entry.

Steven Grace - Headspace

Steven Grace's Headspace image

This design represents me. Life is sometimes very disjointed and gets shifted unexpectedly. Some things are very bland and black & white, but there are some things in life which are full of colour. I choose to focus on these, just as these are the focal points of my design. I also try and to gain a higher perspective on situations around me, represented through the mountains.

Christine Le - The Natural Brain

Christine Le's The Natural Brain entry

The Natural Brain' is a visual representation of what's going on in my headspace at the moment.

It’s hard to escape the hot debate that’s going on in the media - the carbon tax and after watching ‘Home’, an environmentally conscious documentary I couldn’t stop thinking about our changing environment. I was inspired to create something that will remind us that we have the knowledge to benefit /save our natural environment.

Michelle Li - Triptych

How do we cope when someone we love, someone we have known for all our lives, leaves us? Where do they go? Why did they leave? Who do we blame? Most importantly, how can our friends help us through this time? Sometimes talking isn't necessary; people need only to be there. This is about not only Henry, but dedicated to anybody who has been through a similar familial upheaval.

View Jeremy Gorniak's Notaxistan on YouTube

NOTAXISTAN depicts a propoganda-style infomercial educating the world on the tax-free nation of 'Notaxistan'. The tone and content of the video soon convey the feeling that perhaps paying tax has a lot more benefits than some people realise. The use of humour and sharp dialogue is intended to keep the viewer engaged for the duration.

Bianca Lai - One Last Wish

Bianca Lai - One Last Wish entry

This is a photograph of a blow dandelion, also known as the 'wishing flower'. When people, particularly the youth, are or go missing it does not only affect one person, it impacts many people. However many people do not realise that. The photograph I have taken of the 'wishing flower' is a symbol of hope to those who are affected by the situation by having one last wish. Having one last wish to do things like hug, kiss, smile at them and of course, for them to be found, safe and unharmed. Make one last wish.
