Maydina Penrith

Maydina Penrith, 23, is the National Indigenous Football Coordinator for Football Federation Australia - the national governing body of football (soccer) in Australia.

Maydina’s key area of responsibility has been to develop, lead and coordinate the implementation of the FFA Indigenous Football Development Strategy, in addition to building and leveraging partnerships with government, corporate and community partners to identify and source funding and other program opportunities that will contribute to the achievement of the Indigenous Football Development Program outcomes.

With a passion for providing opportunities for all Indigenous people Maydina recently relocated from Griffith, NSW to Sydney to pursue her dream and working with FFA.

Maydina has been an active and motivated volunteer for Indigenous Education programs and within the youth led sector and has held previous roles with youth led organisations including the Foundation for Young Australians, NSW Youth Participation Action Committee and the NSW Youth Advisory Council.

Maydina strives to be a positive role model for young Indigenous people throughout Australia by placing a high value on education and giving back to the community not only through her personal aspirations but also through her work at the FFA.
