headspace is excited to be supporting National Youth Week 2010. headspace is all about helping young people aged 12 to 25 with health and mental health issues and supporting National Youth Week gives us a chance to let even more young people know we are here.

headspace provides health and mental health information, support and services to young people and their families across Australia. headspace can help if you:

  • are feeling down, anxious or depressed
  • are not coping at school or finding it difficult to concentrate
  • have any general physical health issues
  • want to cut down your drinking or drug use
  • want to talk to someone about sexual health
  • are being bullied, hurt or sexually harassed
  • need contraception information and advice
  • are having work/study and/or financial problems

There are 30 headspace centres across Australia where you can find someone else to talk to. Find out if there is a headspace near you.

The headspace website also has fact sheets, videos, stories and more information.

During National Youth Week 2010, headspace will be promoting positive mental health, encouraging help seeking early and ensuring that young people know how and where to get the help they need.
