NYW 2009 in review
Make a Move was the theme for National Youth Week 2009.
The week kicked off with a free concert at Reddacliff Place, Brisbane and was broadcast live on Video Hits. Over 2000 young people rocked up to see The Butterfly Effect, Bob Evans and Evermore live on stage.
This was followed by a huge week-long celebration of youth. All up young people participated in over 1500 National Youth Week events.
Hundreds of young people around the country proved just how talented they are. We received around 700 National Talent Competition entries and over 4,000 Win Free Stuff Competition entries. Check out the 2009 NTC winners.
Each year National Youth Week just keeps getting bigger and better, so stay tuned for more info on the national launch, events around Australia and the competitions opening in February.
